December 8th was my 24th birthday.  Although I'm not entirely sure where I'm heading just yet I'm incredibly grateful for the friends I've made.  All of you make life worth living!  <3

I wake up at 7AM with a cough.  I turn on my bedside lamp, illuminating my cowboy themed room.  I walk to my dresser and find Rainbow, my pet Betta fish, floating belly up in his bowl.  His once brilliant blue and green fins are a dull yellow.  In my sheriff pajamas I walk to my parents’ room.  I cough the entire way.  In the walk-in closet, Dad’s getting dressed for work.  I tell her that I think Rainbow is dead. Mom stretches, and then gets out of bed.  Accompanied by Annie, the family golden retriever, she walks to my room, and declares that Rainbow is dead.  She fetches a thermometer from the bathroom and takes my temperature

I got around to watching the animated mini-series Over the Garden Wall and HOLY HELL WAS IT GOOD!  This could already have secured itself as one of my all-time favorite animated productions in the history of film and television. If you haven't seen it you've got to go check it out.  It's under 2 hours, $7-$10 to buy it digitally or on DVD, and it's worth every penny of it.
